Board of Directors reorganized as scheduled
At the general meeting of the VDMA Electrical Automation Association, a new board was elected for the next term of office.

- Dr. Guido Beckmann, Beckhoff Automation
- Jörg Freitag, Siemens
- Dr. Lars Friedrich, Sick
- Hans-Jürgen Koch, Phoenix Contact
- Martin Kram, Eaton Industries
- Dr. Heiner Lang, Bosch Rexroth
- Michael Matthesius, Weidmüller Interface
- Markus Sandhöfner, B&R Industrial Electronics
- Jürgen Siefert, Schneider Electric
The Board of Directors elected Jörg Freitag as Chairman for the next four years. He takes over the office from Dr. Thomas Bürger from Bosch Rexroth. Jürgen Siefert was appointed Deputy Chairman of the Board. "Automation providers are important solution partners for mechanical engineering, which is why we want to create collaborations and network within the VDMA," says Jörg Freitag about his wishes for the work of the Executive Board in the coming years.
