Big plans for 2018
The Kempten-based company 3S-Smart Software Solutions, manufacturer of the IEC 61131-3 automation software Codesys, increased its turnover by over 6% in 2017. A major event - the Codesys Technology Day - is coming up in May this year.
After EUR 17.8 million in 2016, 3S-Smart Software Solutions and its more than 150 employees at its locations in Kempten, Italy and China generated revenue of around EUR 19 million in the past financial year. In January of this year, a subsidiary was founded in the USA, which will offer technical support, consulting and training for the growing local customer base in the future.
In May, the Kempten-based company is expecting around 500 trade visitors from all over the world at its headquarters in the Allgäu region - for the 'Codesys Technology Day'. The theme of the event: Explore the Software Side of Industry 4.0. The focus will be on Codesys as a central IIoT tool and a new platform for server and cloud connections.
