Applications in combustion technology
From version 10.12 of the software tool 'PNOZmulti Configurator', the base unit PNOZ m B1 Burner of the safe small controllers 'PNOZmulti 2' from Pilz supports both monitoring and safe control of combustion plants.
This allows not only the control and monitoring of the burner itself, but also the entire firing system to be managed safely.
The software tool provides a burner function module for configuring the base unit. This software element is certified in accordance with the relevant European standards, including EN 298 and EN 50156.
The burner function module emulates the extended functionality of a flexibly configurable electronic burner control unit. It can therefore manage the entire system.
Users save time when planning and engineering their firing system. According to Pilz, different burner types such as pilot burners or non-guide burners, direct or indirect ignition, low or high temperature operation can be safely controlled and monitored.
