The addition to the Value series offers interfaces such as VGA, PMC, CompactFlash, USB 2.0 and PS/2 keyboard/mouse and also supports older operating systems such as QNX 6.5/6.6 and Linux. The blade computer is equipped with a quad-core 2.8 GHz Intel Core i7-6820EQ processor and the Intel HM170 mobile chipset and offers up to 32 GB of dual-channel DDR4 SO-DIMM 2133 non-ECC memory. The 64-bit/66 MHz CompactPCI bus with universal VIO and host or satellite mode is supported, which allows operation both in the system slot and in the peripheral slots without a connection to the PCI bus. For mass storage, there is space for a 2.5-inch SATA 6 Gb/s hard disk, a CFast slot (or optional CompactFlash) and a 7-pin SATA connector. Up to three SATA 3 Gb/s ports are available on the rear connectors. With three independent graphics outputs at the same time, the cPCI-6630 offers flexibility. For video applications, DirectX-12 as well as OpenGL-4.4 for 3D hardware acceleration and H.265 for hardware encoding/decoding are supported.
