Dirk Finstel is Head of Embedded IoT in Europe
Advantech, provider of smart IoT products and solutions, has appointed Dirk Finstel as 'Associate Vice President Embedded IoT Europe' with effect from January 1. Advantech wants to emphasize the importance of its embedded business in Europe.
According to Advantech, Dirk Finstel has more than 25 years of experience in embedded computing and a successful career in corporate management. Finstel was previously CEO of Sales & Marketing for the Embedded Boards division and CTO and a member of the Management Board of Kontron AG. He then worked for several years as CEO EMEA and Executive Vice President at Adlink Technology. Most recently, Finstel was Managing Partner / CTO at eCount embedded - a manufacturer of flat-panel display controller boards in Munich.
