Realization of intell. Operating concepts in the Industry 4.0 environment
Terms such as gateway and edge device, as well as greenfield and brownfield scenarios, are frequently used in the context of Industry 4.0. Cloud-based analytics and different methods of cloud communication are also discussed.
Beckhoff explains the various terms and expands the scenarios with customized Industrial PC hardware and software.
