Production open to third parties
Kontron Europe GmbH's production facility in Augsburg is opening up and is now offering assembly, system integration and avionics services for third parties.
Kontron, provider of embedded computer technology, announces that Kontron Europe GmbH will take over the complete manufacturing of industrial PCs, HMIs, high-level electronic systems and devices as well as services as an avionics maintenance organization for third parties.
The medium-sized electronics service providers of Kontron AG are united under the umbrella of the Kontron ODM/EMS Alliance. They have decades of experience in the complete production chain as well as in the areas of development and assembly services.
Kontron Europe previously provided high-level assembly services exclusively for the Kontron AG companies' own products, but is now opening up production to third parties. It is characterized in particular by the assembly of industrial PCs, HMIs as well as complex electronic systems and entire devices. In addition to pure system assembly, further services are offered such as in-house test equipment construction, which enables a wide range of testing and inspection procedures.
