Pluggable System on Module
DH Electronics 'DHCOM i.MX8M' with dual or quad Cortex-A53 processor with Neural Processing Unit (NPU) is particularly suitable for real-time control, machine learning, AI, advanced multimedia and industrial automation.
The NPU with up to 2.3 TOPS enables matrix calculations for pattern, speech or object recognition, for example. Real-time control is achieved with the Cortex-M7. The robust control network is supported by the Dual-CAN FD and Dual Gigabit Ethernet with Time Sensitive Networking (TSN). Image and video processing via encoding/decoding is also possible. The pluggable system can be used in a temperature range from -40 to +85 °C. Thanks to the DHCOM family concept, i.MX6- or STM32MP15-based SOM solutions can be easily upgraded to the DHCOM i.MX8M Plus without a complete redesign, according to DH Electronics.
