Martin Jones is the new Managing Director
Since July 1, 2016, Moxa Europe has had a new Managing Director, Martin Jones, who brings several years of professional experience in management positions.
In his new position at Moxa Europe - a provider of technology for the transportation, energy, factory automation and marine industries - Martin Jones is responsible for over 60 employees across Europe. He was born and educated in London and studied electronics at the University of Surrey in Guildford, UK. After working as a digital design engineer for several years, Jones decided to change his career plans to sales: For two years, he managed a sales office for Plessey Microsystems near Frankfurt am Main. He later worked in various sales positions, including 17 years at Force Computer in Munich. Over the course of his career, he has held various management positions, including Director Market Segments & Global Accounts at Leybold Vacuum in Cologne and VP Sales Europe at EMS provider Plexus.
In 2006, Jones moved to what was then Jungvogel Moxa Europe GmbH as Sales Director. His responsibilities since then have included key account development, regional sales management, further development of the industrial computing business and management of Moxa Europe's shared platform resources, which include departments such as technical support, finance and human resources.
