ISA bus support
Adlink launches the CM1-86DX3 single-board computer in the PC/104 form factor. The module is based on the Vortex86DX3 system-on-chip processor. It clocks at 1.0 GHz and has 2 GB of DDR3L memory.
The module is designed for areas such as industrial automation, transportation, energy management and military applications that require industrial-grade stability. Thanks to the comprehensive support of the ISA bus in accordance with the PC/104-2.6 specification, the service life of ISA-based applications can be significantly extended, according to Adlink. The module offers a SATA port and a CFast socket for connection to modern high-speed data interfaces. A Gigabit Ethernet and a Fast Ethernet port are also available. Two USB 2.0 ports, eight GPIOs, two RS-232/422/485 ports and two RS232 ports round off the I/O offering. The CM1-86DX3 module has an extended temperature range and is suitable for harsh environmental conditions. It has been designed to withstand shocks of up to 50 g and vibrations of up to 12 g in accordance with MIL-STD-202F. With the integrated SEMA (Smart Embedded Management Agent) cloud functionality, the module is also equipped for tasks in the IoT.
