Digital innovations start-up competitionSpecial prize on the topic of Industry 4.0 for the first time
The 'Start-up Competition - Digital Innovations' is entering its second round in 2017: start-ups with creative ideas from the communications and information technology (ICT) sector can now apply. This time, the BMWi is awarding a special Industry 4.0 prize.

Founded in 2012, the Chemnitz-based company Baselabs is working on software for the development of driver assistance systems and autonomous vehicles. The team has now launched three software products on the market that provide complex mathematical methods for signal processing in a modular system. This significantly reduces development time and the probability of errors. The idea was awarded a main prize in 2012 as part of the 'Gründerwettbewerb - IKT Innovativ', the predecessor to the 'Gründerwettbewerb - Digitale Innovationen'.
