Digital innovations start-up competitionSpecial prize on the topic of Industry 4.0 for the first time
The 'Start-up Competition - Digital Innovations' is entering its second round in 2017: start-ups with creative ideas from the communications and information technology (ICT) sector can now apply. This time, the BMWi is awarding a special Industry 4.0 prize.

Programming robots is very time-consuming, as they have highly complex movement patterns. This means that robots cannot be used economically for many production systems. The founders of Artiminds have developed software that enables robots to be programmed more quickly and intuitively. To do this, they use low-cost sensor technologies that detect a movement based on demonstrations of the work task. The software analyzes and interprets the robot's knowledge of movement, reacts independently to changes in the task and the environment and can therefore significantly speed up the programming of complex robot movements.
