High computing power, flexible interfaces

Plug-In Electronic presents the embedded computer system 'EAC-5000' based on the NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin platform. It has been specially developed for performance-intensive edge AI applications, including those with real-time requirements and for video analysis with AI.

The computing power of up to 275 TOPS is provided by an ARM Cortex-A78AE CPU, combined with NVIDIA's own Ampere architecture and 64 Tensor cores. The embedded computer system is equipped with a wide range of interfaces, including eight Fakra-Z connectors for GMSL cameras, two Sim slots and antennas for all wireless protocols. They are also equipped with functions such as software-controlled ignition control. According to Plug-In Electronic, this makes the energy-efficient embedded PCs in the series suitable for AIoT applications in vehicles, robotics and industry.
