Flexible Embedded Platform

With the 'esdEP Embedded Platform', esd electronics presents a modular hardware and software solution that has been specially developed for industrial automation, control and communication applications.

The platform enables flexibly configurable gateway solutions for CAN, Profinet and Ethercat, adapted to project and application-specific requirements. Whether as a CAN data logger, Profinet-to-CAN gateway or CAN-to-Ethercat MainDevice gateway, the platform is suitable for both new automation solutions and retrofit projects in existing systems. The hardware supports numerous protocols such as CAN, Ethercat, OPC UA and J1939. It is always offered in conjunction with a customer-specific software configuration by the esd electronics team in order to create tailor-made solutions for control systems, data logging or gateway applications, including individual adaptation of interfaces and software.
