Next Generation USB 2.0 Controller

The 'EZ-USB FX2G3' from Infineon Technologies is a USB 2.0 peripheral controller specifically designed for USB devices.

It is based on the 'EZ-USB FX2LP' platform and includes Serial Communication Blocks (SCB), a crypto engine for enhanced security and a high bandwidth data subsystem. This enables DMA data transfers from the LVCMOS input to the USB output at speeds of up to 480 Mbps and is suitable for USB Hi-Speed based host systems. A 1024 Kbyte SRAM is integrated into the high bandwidth data subsystem to provide sufficient buffer capacity for data. The controller can be seamlessly integrated into a wide range of industries. In industrial systems, it facilitates real-time data acquisition and communication in robotics and automation systems. In robotics, it supports sensor integration and advanced control functions. The controller is available in a 104-pin LGA package with a footprint of 8 mm × 8 mm.
