Seco launches a SMARC system on modules based on Qualcomm's QCS6490 and QCS5430 application processors.

The SOM-SMARC-QCS6490 simplifies the use of the Qualcomm QCS6490 processor, a platform for the IoT. Seco 's chipset supports AI and computing as well as advanced interfaces and peripherals for industrial use cases. The integrated Qualcomm AI Engine enables machine learning applications on the device and features a fused AI accelerator architecture. The SMARC system facilitates access to this technology in a SMARC 2.1.1 System on Module with Qualcomm Kryo 670 CPU. This consists of 1x Arm Cortex-A78 @2.7 GHz, 3x Arm Cortex-A78 @2.4 GHz and 4x Arm Cortex-A55 @1.9 GHz. The Adreno 643 GPU provides enhanced graphics performance and supports FHD+ resolutions at 120 frames per second on the primary display and up to 4k Ultra HD at 60 Hz on the secondary display. Networking capabilities are represented by a 2x Gigabit Ethernet interface and optional Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.3.
