Alexander von Schweinitz has retired
The Vice President of Schneider Electric Germany - Alexander von Schweinitz - handed over operational responsibility for the Building Commercial division at the end of 2017. He will be succeeded until further notice by Dr. Barbara Frei, Zone President Schneider Electric DACH.
According to the company, Alexander von Schweinitz has left the Group at his own request. He would like to take on new challenges outside Schneider Electric, but will remain associated with the company as Chairman of the Supervisory Board. Since 2011, Alexander von Schweinitz has merged the division with the brands Schneider Electric, Merten, Ritto and most recently with the acquisition of ABN Braun, positioning Schneider Electric in the German market as a competitor in building technology.
