GTI was founded in 1987 as Gesellschaft für technische Informationsverarbeitung mbH. From its headquarters in Marktheidenfeld, around 30 employees develop and distribute software-based visualization solutions for mechanical and plant engineering. These so-called Human Machine Interface (HMI) systems are marketed under the brand names 'Procon-Win' and 'Procon-Web'.
