Runs on simple hardware
With Procon-WEB-IoT, GTI provides a variant of the Procon-WEB HMI/SCADA system that can be installed on compact and cost-effective hardware with different operating systems.
This allows data acquisition from machines with the display of operating statuses via a browser on mobile devices and transfer to the cloud to be implemented via project planning. In addition to complex HMI and SCADA applications, the solution can be used to install simple solutions for connecting machine data to the cloud on compact embedded devices, such as an industrial Raspberry PI, according to the manufacturer. Procon-WEB IoT can also be installed as a node.js application on Linux, for example. The specific application is created using the configuration tool. Controllers can be connected via various connectors such as OPC UA and their data and status can be recorded, logged and displayed via websites. The solution has cloud connectors such as MQTT to easily transfer data to various solutions such as Microsoft Azure. Other connectors are available, for example for connecting to the GTI cloud platform Resma.
