Interpretation of IEC/IEEE 60802 Profile for Virtualization

Abstract
The IEC/IEEE 60802 profile outlines the TSN architecture for industrial automation but omits node virtualization. This presentation investigates how the profile can be applied in virtualization contexts to manage aggregated nodes and shared links. It looks at models for CUC/CNC handling single/multiple instances of TSN-aware applications running in virtualized environment. Agreeing on interpreting 60802 in virtualization will accelerate virtualized TSN system development.
