Training for Professionals

Meinrad Happacher,

The IoT for engineers

How can the Internet of Things be used? What needs to be considered for IoT projects? How might the internal company structure need to be adapted? - A two-day practical seminar provides answers to these questions.

The training event 'IoT Innovation Development: Technology Building Blocks and Software Development Methods' will take place in the 'Training for Professionals' event series of the publisher WEKA Fachmedien on March 20 and 21, 2019 in Haar.

Getting fit for the industrial IoT! With this in mind, Klaus-Dieter Walter and Dr. Hans Egermeier developed a concept for the two-day training event 'IoT innovation development: technology building blocks and software development methods': In order to benefit as a company from the end-to-end networking of countless objects and the associated digitalization and to remain competitive in the future, IoT innovations must be developed systematically. The event will address the following issues:

Day 1:

  • What technology building blocks and standards are there?
  • What does the interaction of all building blocks look like?
  • How does data become valuable information?
  • Which data analysis algorithms are required (e.g. machine learning, artificial intelligence)?

Day 2:

  • Which development methods and processes are expedient for the development of constantly changing software products or represent the state of the art?
  • How do you deal with the challenges of data-based, autonomous decisions and IT security?
  • What impact do IoT innovations have on a business model, etc.?

The two-day Training for Professionals is aimed in particular at product managers, development and team leaders from pre- and product development and will take place on March 20 and 21, 2019 in Haar near Munich. The workshop days can also be booked individually.

The full program and registration information are available online.
