Semantic basis developed for Industry 4.0

The 'SemAnz40' project, funded by the Federal Ministry of Economics, aims to create a semantic basis for the exchange of information in Industry 4.0 scenarios. The project results of the last one and a half years will be presented at SPS IPC Drives 2017.

The semantic basis developed in the 'SemAnz40' project is based on existing norms and standards. The results of the project work are the topic of the three-hour event on November 29, 2017 from 1 to 4 pm. The title is "From Industry 4.0 scenarios with information models to practical application in use cases". Participants will learn which models and standards have been used to form the semantic basis. They will also learn about the application of the semantic basis in real application scenarios: such as end-to-end engineering, order-driven production, changeable factory and plant asset management. A "hands-on" demonstrator will show how it works in practice.

Further information on the content of the free event and registration can be found on the project's website.
