New Managing Director for Moxa Europe
Moxa, provider of industrial communication and network technology, has appointed Jens Holzhammer as Managing Director of its European subsidiary Moxa Europe.
Jens Holzhammer was most recently Managing Director of the European subsidiary of Kathrein, a manufacturer of wireless telecommunications infrastructure including cellular antennas and IoT/RFID solutions. Further stations in his international career were the management of sales and marketing at Commscope (telecommunications infrastructure), Fluke Networks (IT network measurement technology) and Rohde & Schwarz (RF measurement technology). He graduated from RWTH Aachen University with a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering and holds a Master of Business Administration from Henley Business School. As the new Managing Director of Moxa Europe, Holzhammer intends to focus on verticalization and promising niche markets, including rail transport and renewable energy. He plans to intensify end-user relationships and optimize indirect sales channels.
Holzhammer replaces Martin Jones, who had been Managing Director since July 2016. Jones is taking on a new role at Moxa with a focus on expanding the rail business he has already built up.
