Artificial intelligence / BVDW"Ethics is becoming a competitive factor"
72% of German citizens prefer to buy digital products or services that are designed in such a way that they follow ethical principles when making decisions. This is one of the findings of the latest study by the German Digital Industry Association (BVDW).

... were examined by the association in the study "Artificial intelligence, smart home, connected health - ethics in the digital economy" published in mid-September 2019. For example, such ethical principles ensure that software does not discriminate against anyone or only processes sensitive information within narrow limits. In the representative survey conducted by Kantar TNS on behalf of the BVDW, three quarters of Germans (74%) stated that ethical principles should be given high or very high priority in the development of new products.
