Gigabit Ethernet mezzanine card with six ports
Kontron is launching the 'XMC-ETH6', a Gigabit Ethernet XMC that expands the network capacity of VPX or VME single board computers (SBCs).
The card has six ports for extended connectivity options and flexibility in network configuration. Thanks to the higher port count, more connections can be made with a single card. Four independent 1G/2.5G ports and two independent 1G copper ports are available. The card has six independent Ethernet controllers, four of which support TSN/IEEE1388 PTP, ensuring stable network performance. With the robust, EMC-compliant Harting-ix front connectors according to IEC 61076, Kontron 's card offers secure and reliable connectivity even in demanding environments. It enables flexible mounting options and is available in both an air-cooled and a conduction-cooled version. The air-cooled version has Ethernet connections on the front. The conduction-cooled version is particularly suitable for harsh environments due to its robust design.
