Euchner 's Multifunctional Gate Box (MGB) safety gate system can be adapted to individual requirements as the MGB2 Modular. Modular here is the separation into a modular principle of locking module, bus module and submodules, allowing additional functions to be implemented. Diagnostic functions in the form of Ethercat messages and an integrated web server provide a quick and detailed overview of the status of the device. The simple parameterization also makes it easy to replace the system in the event of servicing and can be carried out in just a few minutes. The features of the bus module include Ethercat P with FSoE, a gateway for up to four MGB2 modular interlocking modules or MCM extension modules, up to 36 safe elements and safety up to category 4/ PL e, SIL3.
