Board of Directors newly elected

The Profibus User Organization (PNO) has elected its Board of Directors and Advisory Board for the next three-year term of office. In addition to two re-elected board members, there was also one new appointment.

Karsten Schneider(Siemens) was re-elected as Chairman of the Board and Prof. Dr. Frithjof Klasen from the Automation & Industrial IT Institute at the TH Köln/Gummersbach was re-elected as a member of the Board. Klaus-Peter Lindner(Endress + Hauser Process Solutions), who has been on the Board for many years, did not stand for re-election due to his upcoming retirement. Dr. Jörg Hähniche (Endress + Hauser Process Solutions) was newly elected to the Board.

The General Meeting also confirmed the Advisory Board members Dr. Thomas Albers (Minda), Christoph Behler(Mitsubishi Electric), Henk van der Bent(Yokogawa), Klaus Erni (Emerson), Uwe Gräff(Harting), Marco Henkel(Wago Kontakttechnik), Andreas Hennecke(Pepperl+Fuchs), Jörg Krautter(Murrelektronik), Martin Müller(Phoenix Contact) and Gerhard Mutter(Sick). Matthias Prinzen(Festo) is a new member of the Advisory Board.

The Advisory Board controls the technical orientation and further development of the PI technologies Profibus, Profinet and IO-Link. The elected Advisory Board members are supported in their work by the heads of the PNO 's six Technical Committees, who contribute the respective technology topics to the Advisory Board's work.
