With twelve new variants of the MS2N synchronous servo motor, Bosch Rexroth is extending the performance range of the motor series upwards and increasing the maximum torque to up to 692 Nm, which is almost double the previous figure.The new MS2N13 size comprises four lengths, each with three cooling variants: self-cooling, forced ventilation or water cooling. With a continuous torque of up to 345 Nm and maximum speeds of up to 3600 rpm, they are particularly suitable for applications in plastics machines, forming technology or heavy-duty machining. The motors can be configured flexibly. A wide range of shaft, encoder and holding brake options are available. With integrated SafeMotion encoders of performance class SIL3/PLe, additional safety components in the machine can be omitted.
