Uwe Hagmaier succeeds Uwe Furtner

There has been a change in management at image processing technology manufacturer Matrix Vision: Uwe Furtner is leaving his position as Head of Research & Development and will be succeeded by Uwe Hagmeier.

After 27 years at Matrix Vision and as Technical Managing Director since 1996, Uwe Furtner has played a key role in shaping the company's development and now wants to devote himself to new tasks in the areas of coaching and management consulting. He will therefore end his operational activities as Managing Director on December 31, 2019 and relinquish his duties as Head of Research & Development.

In recent years, Matrix Vision has been led by a management team consisting of Ralf Grasmann (Sales & Marketing & Supply Chain), Tobias Thullner (Finance & Administration) and Uwe Furtner (Research & Development). Uwe Hagmaier, who has been with the company for over 27 years and has held various management positions in the area of development, has been appointed to the management team as the new Head of Research & Development. Ralf Grasmann, who has over 20 years of experience in factory automation and has spent the last ten years as international sales manager at Balluff GmbH, will also take on the role of site manager. Tobias Thullner has now been with the company for seven years and was previously involved in decision-making and management processes as assistant to the management.
