In combination with the Linos d.fine HR Area Scan Module, the lens enables inspection with very large area sensors. The company thus offers a second, alternative equipment option for its inspection lens after the prism module, which enables coaxial illumination in line scan applications.

The lens with its 82 mm image circle achieves a resolution of up to 300 lp/mm in the object at a magnification of -3.33 in the wavelength range 400 to 750 nm. Equipped with the area scan module, it is particularly suitable for area scan cameras with resolutions of over 150 megapixels and the smallest pixel sizes of 3.5 µm. In addition, the lens has a very high light intensity with an aperture of 2.4. As it is virtually distortion-free, it is suitable for automatic inspection.
