Changes in the product management team
MVTec Software, provider of standard software for industrial image processing, has made changes to its product management team.
Christoph Wagner took over product management for the 'Merlic' software on September 1, 2020. He performs this task in addition to his previous role as Product Manager for Embedded Vision. Thomas Hopfner has held the newly created position of Product Manager Licensing and Interfaces since January 2021.
Wagner has been working as Product and Business Development Manager Embedded Vision at MVTec since 2017 and can contribute his machine vision experience and his expertise in the embedded vision environment in this dual position to further develop two important MVTec product lines.
Thomas Hopfner will be able to contribute his many years of experience in the position of Product Manager Licencing and Interfaces. He will also be responsible for the support and expansion of the Image Acquisition Partner Program. Hopfner has been with MVTec since 2005.
