Change in management

Silicon Software and Basler announce a change in the management of the subsidiary.

Dr. Dietmar Ley, CEO of Basler, will then take over the management of Silicon Software until further notice. Dr. Klaus-Henning Noffz, former Managing Director of Silicon Software, will take on strategic tasks at Basler with immediate effect.

Basler is a manufacturer of cameras and camera accessories for applications in factory automation, medicine, transportation and a variety of other markets. The company employs around 600 people at its headquarters in Ahrensburg as well as in subsidiaries and sales offices in Europe, Asia and North America.

The Mannheim-based company Silicon Software was founded in 1997 and is a manufacturer of hardware for the image acquisition and processing of industrial cameras and software for the graphical programming of vision processors. With more than 50 employees, the company produces and sells both standard products and customer-specific OEM solutions for image processing applications in factory automation and medical technology.
