AutoVimation will be part of Exaktera LLC, a portfolio company of Union Park Capital, based in Boston.
AutoVimation, headquartered in Rheinstetten, Baden-Württemberg, is a manufacturer of robust camera housings and special accessories that enable the use of machine vision systems in demanding environments. The company offers high-performance housings and mounting solutions for industrial cameras, lighting and related components for machine vision systems.
Exaktera is a Boston, Massachusetts-based portfolio company of Union Park Capital, a private equity investor specializing in middle-market industrial technology companies. Exaktera specializes in the manufacture of essential lighting solutions for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), where lighting plays a central role in the performance and smooth functioning of business-critical processes.
AutoVimation will join Z-Laser, ProPhotonix, Advanced Illumination and iiM as the fifth company to further strengthen Exaktera's position as a global player in machine vision and photonics technology. The founder and CEO of AutoVimation, Peter Neuhaus, will continue to lead the company after the acquisition by Exaktera.
