21 MPixel resolution with 4.5 µm pixel size

Based on the GSPRINT4521 CMOS sensor from GPixel, the EoSens 21CXP2 camera from Mikrotron offers a resolution of 21 MP with a pixel size of 4.5 µm, high sensitivity and an image capture speed of up to 230 images/s when all pixels are used.

According to Mikrotron, a reduction in the sensor area read out enables even faster image capture and, for example, a frame rate of 5,543 frames/s for images with 5,120 x 128 pixels. The integrated CoaXPress 2.0 interface with 4x 12.5 Gbit/s can handle the large amounts of data without latency. The camera is particularly suitable for 3D laser profiling due to its large sensor. The use of binning increases the signal-to-noise ratio of the camera. Intelligent functions such as switching between one, two or four CoaXPress channels and various binning modes are further features of the camera.
