Siemens is restructuring its Managing Board. As Klaus Helmrich will be retiring at the end of March 2021, Cedrik Neike, currently Member of the Executive Board for Smart Industries, will succeed him as Member of the Executive Board for Digital Industries as of October 1, 2020. Neike will be succeeded by Matthias Rebellius - the current COO will thus be appointed as Board Member for Smart Infrastructure.

It was already known that Roland Busch will assume responsibility for the 2021 financial year on October 1. At the Annual Shareholders' Meeting in February 2021, Joe Kaeser will hand over his role as CEO of Siemens AG to Roland Busch as planned.
