Eplan
The Marketplace is live
Eplan introduces a new service: The Eplan Marketplace is an international platform that connects CAE software users and service providers.
The day-to-day business of Eplan customers shows that there are often hurdles in project business, data preparation and integration that companies cannot overcome on their own. In many cases, it is also the human resources that require support. The question then arises: Which provider in the field of CAE software, specifically in the Eplan environment, is suitable here? A laborious search then begins, especially in countries with less Eplan know-how. Up to now, Eplan's sales department has helped to establish contacts with well-known companies. This search process should now become easier with the Marketplace.
Access to international providers
The Marketplace is divided into three areas. The "Engineering" sector includes services such as the creation of circuit diagrams, hardware design or the creation of article data. Companies can find what they are looking for here, for example to compensate for bottlenecks in projects. The "Module Manufacturing" area addresses services in control cabinet construction, cable assembly and cable harness production. The "General Consulting" section includes providers who advise joint customers in the areas of ERP, PLM or software development (PLC, visualization). By searching for the software used, type of service or country-specific region, interested parties can filter which provider is suitable for which task. Contact can be made directly via the platform.
Tested quality
How does the process work? Suppliers can register free of charge on a website. The prerequisites for participation in the Marketplace are a proven qualification - for example, the training of an employee as an Eplan Certified Engineer and an assessment by at least one reference customer. Those responsible at Eplan validate the provider and qualification and, following a successful check, the company is listed in the Marketplace. Listing and use are free of charge. A user can submit an inquiry to the provider via a contact form - services are agreed and charged for independently outside the marketplace. An assessment can be stored on the platform, which can help other interested parties to choose their future provider.
60 small and medium-sized companies are already listed at the start and solution provider Eplan wants to expand the offering. Companies with the relevant expertise in the engineering environment are actively encouraged to register on the Marketplace internationally.
