Programming competition "JacobsHack!"
The "JacobsHack!" hackathon starts on November 5 at Jacobs University Bremen. The competition is aimed at students from all over Germany and Europe.
The 24-hour hackathon is taking place for the eighth time and is once again being organized by Jacobs University students this year. The competition starts on November 5 on the campus of Jacobs University. The motto of this year's competition is "Go Green!". This is intended to address the urgent issues of the climate crisis. In addition to pure programming, lectures, games and small workshops will also be offered.
Students from all over Europe and anyone who has graduated from university in the last twelve months can take part. In addition to programming artists, creative minds such as graphic designers are also welcome. This is because JacobsHack! does not focus solely on coding skills, but also on diversity of skills, experience and creativity. Registration is still possible until October 19.
The private, English-language campus university was founded in 2001. Its more than 1,600 students come from over 110 countries. Research projects at Jacobs University are funded by the German Research Foundation or the European Union's Framework Program for Research and Innovation as well as by leading global companies.
