Interoperability as a prerequisite for new services...
In April 2019, the German Industry 4.0 platform presented its strategic agenda for the coming years with the launch of its 2030 vision. Interoperability is one of the three pillars of this agenda and standardization plays a central role here.
It is important to strike a balance between the long-term definition of fundamental mechanisms and openness to technology in order to enable rapid adaptation to new technologies. This is an important prerequisite for the desired interoperability of OT and IT and across the entire life cycle. The SCI 4.0 approach will be illustrated using selected examples of interoperability in Industry 4.0 systems and the use of AI in an industrial environment.
Dr. Jens Gayko, Managing Director Standardization Council Industrie 4.0 (SCI 4.0) at VDE, will welcome you in his presentation "Interoperability as a prerequisite for new services based on data".
Date: November 24, 13:35 - 13:55
