Lukas Dehling,

Interface to the PLC

In the paper "Automation Project Configuration", the experts at AutomationML have developed the basis for a standardized interface between ECAD and PLC programming systems. The paper specifies workflows and a method for the loss-free exchange of connections and signals between ECAD and PLC programming systems. When developing the document, the consortium considered software tools from different manufacturers in order to achieve a suitable, harmonious structure for the data to be exchanged and to use familiar data names.

The entire document is available for download in the whitepaper section of Computer&AUTOMATION.
