Industry 4.0 in Profibus and HART systems
smartLink HW-DP from Softing enables the integration of Industry 4.0 applications in Profibus and HART systems.
The tool offers controller-independent access to Profibus DP networks and enables plant asset management for field devices using industry-standard tools. It also enables the use of HART IP as a standardized format. The compact tool can be integrated without affecting the operation of existing installations. It is independent of project planning tools and enables the central and time-saving parameterization of Profibus and HART field devices directly from the control room using HART IP and HART over PROFIBUS. Plant asset management applications gain access to field device configuration based on FDT/DTM and EDDL standards (acyclic master).
