RS Components is expanding its portfolio with two new 3D printers from Zortrax, the M200 and the M300.
According to the manufacturer, these are reliable, efficient, high-quality and offer high dimensional accuracy and precision with a single extruder LPD layer (layer plastic deposition printing technology). The M200 package is a fully integrated plug & play system. It includes the 3D printer, the starter kit, the Z-Suite software bundle and the compatible printing material. The model has the following specifications: Build space dimensions of 200 mm × 200 mm × 180 mm, 90 to 400 μm resolution, wall thickness capability of 400 (minimum) to 800 micrometers (optimum). There is also an individually printable dot resolution of 400 microns. Other important specifications are the fialment diameter of 1.75 mm and a nozzle diameter of 0.4 mm. The dimensions of the printer are 345 mm × 360 mm × 430 mm without material spool and 345 mm × 430 mm × 430 mm with spool. The M300 builds on the capabilities of the M200 and offers a larger build space with dimensions of 300 mm × 300 mm × 300 mm and a resolution of 140 to 300 μm. According to the manufacturer, users can use the printers to quickly produce concept models or prototypes for functional tests or even start small series production for numerous applications in areas such as automotive engineering, industry or robotics.
