The DC UPS module bridges power failures, voltage dips and flickers in the 24 V power supply of DC loads up to 100 W. This ensures a fail-safe power supply for embedded PCs, drives and actuators, sensors, cameras and measurement and control technology in safety-relevant systems. The compact UPS for DIN rail mounting is particularly suitable for long-term 24/7 continuous operation in control cabinet applications and decentralized stand-alone solutions. It has international safety certifications for worldwide use: ETL UL61010-1 / -2-201, CSA C22.2 61010-1-12 / -2-201, CB Scheme IEC 61010-1 /-2-201.
For uninterruptible DC power supplies, maintenance-free long-life supercaps (ultracapacitors) are available as highly efficient and particularly durable energy storage devices with more than 500,000 charging and discharging cycles for short and medium bridging times. In contrast to batteries, which store energy via a chemical reaction, supercaps are based on electrophysical principles and are charged and ready for use within a very short time (charging time UPSI-2406DP2 only two minutes). The UPS from Bicker Elektronik works both at sub-zero temperatures down to -20°C and in the extended temperature range up to +65°C.
