Power supply units with Ethercat connection

Puls offers three DIN rail power supply units with 240 W and 480 W output power and an integrated Ethercat interface, which provide power supply and application data such as voltage and current characteristics on the input and output side.

The devices are connected directly to an Ethercat controller without additional gateways. Thanks to real-time data transmission, Ethercat is suitable for monitoring, logging and remote control of complex systems. Based on the power supply data, drives or other energy-intensive loads can be controlled in the best possible way in order to keep the dynamic power requirements within the capabilities of the power supply system. In particular, Puls power supply units, together with other system components, enable automated reactions to cope with unplanned operating states, which previously often led to downtime or even damage. The CP10.241-ETC, CP20.241-ETC (both 24 V) and CP20.481-ETC (48 V) offer an efficiency of over 95 %, permanent 20 % extra power at temperatures up to +45 °C and installation via 'QuickConnect' terminals.
