New CEO at 'Power Generation Services'
Tim Oliver Holt will take over as CEO of Power Generation Services at Siemens from October 1, 2016. He succeeds Randy Zwirn, who helped shape the Power Generation division for almost 20 years.
Tim Oliver Holt is currently the head of the subordinate Bussines unit 'Power and Gas' in the 'Power Generation Services' division at Siemens. Siemens has not yet announced his successor. As CEO of Power Generation Services, he will continue to develop the Group's innovative, data-based service offerings.
Power Generation Services handles the service business for the two divisions 'Power and Gas' and 'Wind Power and Renewables' and offers both conventional and data-driven services within the global energy industry. These are designed to ensure high reliability and optimum performance of rotating machinery for power generation - for utilities, the oil and gas industry and the process industry. As at September 30, 2015, the Power Generation Services division employed around 18,000 people. The portfolio includes digital and conventional services for gas, steam and wind turbines as well as generators, compressors, auxiliary systems and control technology for customers in the power generation sector worldwide.
