Modular design

Mico Pro is a current monitoring system from Murrelektronik that monitors load and control currents, detects critical moments, signals limit loads and switches off faulty channels in a targeted manner.

In the modular system for 12 and 24 V (DC) operating voltages, components are selected from numerous modules and plugged together with a power module to form a system. There is a choice between narrow modules with one, two or four output channels. The tripping currents are either fixed (2, 4, 6, 8, 10 and 16 A) or flexibly adjustable from 1 to 10 A or 11 to 20 A. An integrated potential distribution concept for +24 (or +12) and 0 V simplifies control cabinet wiring. There are connection options for +24 V and 0 V on each channel. The bridging system consists of two busbars and lateral spring contacts for contacting diagnostic and control signals. It is designed for a maximum total current of 40 A. All inputs and outputs of the system are equipped with push-in spring-cage terminals. Each channel is equipped with an LED for status display on the device, and digital message signals can also be transmitted to the control system. A channel-accurate switching function via a PLC signal makes it possible to switch system parts on and off with the "Flex modules". Short switching frequencies (up to 10 Hz) can be realized as well as longer times. The system can be cascaded.
