Integrated diagnostic functions
The GRM-H series power controllers from Gefran are based on the scalable 'GRx' platform for managing electrical loads in industrial heating applications and have integrated diagnostic functions.
Thanks to the IO-Link interface, extended functions in the sense of Industry 4.0 are possible. The devices with the dimensions of a solid state relay (SSR) offer a current range of 15 to 120 A and enable the control of linear and non-linear loads (MoSi2, SiC SWIR, graphite and transformers). Single-phase power controllers also enable the control of three-phase loads in a master/slave configuration. They are equipped with all important operating modes - zero crossing, pulse group operation, half-wave and phase angle control. In addition to the soft-start function, the controllers offer feedback algorithms. Thanks to IO-Link connectivity, Gefran power controllers provide acyclic process data such as operating hours, current and temperature peaks as well as temperature for predictive maintenance of the system in addition to cyclic data. Configuration is carried out via the 'Gefran NFC' app.
