DC power supplies up to 200 W
B+K Precision's 'BK9240' series devices are universal DC power supplies whose multi-range power supplies extend the rated power from a point to a curve, delivering up to 200W over a wider range of voltage/current combinations.
The devices available from Meilhaus are equipped with advanced list programming functions, a battery charging mode and data logging. They also feature an isolated, floating output with remote sensing on the front panel and clean output power with less than 1 mVrms noise. Combined with the easy-to-use user interface, they are suitable for a wide range of applications such as production testing, R&D, electronic service, education and other industrial and laboratory applications.
According to the supplier, the BK9240 series brings general-purpose DC power supplies to the market that include many of the features and capabilities found in high-performance devices as standard. The multi-range operation offers a clean output power of up to 200 W in any volt/ampere combination within the rated voltage and current limits. The series combines an easy-to-use user interface with list programming, battery charging mode and data logging.
Intuitive programming in list mode makes it easy to set up and run complex test sequences directly from the front panel. Advanced features of list mode include the ability to output multiple user-defined list mode programs in sequence and step triggering to synchronize the output of the power supply with external events.
Battery Charge Mode provides configurable fail-safe settings to shut down the output when a certain energy, capacity or time threshold is reached to protect both the power supply and the battery.
Battery charge data, including Wh, Ah and time, can be stored directly to a USB flash drive connected to the USB host port on the front panel. User-configurable battery charging profiles, device settings and list mode programs can also be stored/recalled via the USB host port.
