With lifetime lubrication
The EMC electromechanical cylinders from Bosch Rexroth are now available with significantly extended lubrication intervals. According to the supplier, many applications even benefit from lifetime lubrication, meaning that the cylinders in these solutions are maintenance-free.
The cylinders with the 'Lubricated For Life' option achieve a nominal service life of up to 15,000 km with the basic factory lubrication. Design engineers can use the 'LinSelect' selection and design tool to find out whether lifetime lubrication can be achieved within the planned application.
The electromechanical cylinders from Bosch Rexroth combine anodized aluminium profiles in standard ISO dimensions with an integrated ball screw drive to create a ready-to-install solution. The EMC family comprises a finely scaled range of seven sizes. The largest variant 'EMC100-XC-2' provides feed forces of up to 56 kN. The supplier provides a wide range of servomotors and drive controllers to match the various sizes. An optional force sensor also enables decentralized process control without a higher-level controller.
