Three standard interfaces integrated

With 'u-remote' from Weidmüller, users can easily integrate serial communication devices into their automation architecture: a new universal communication module allows use as either an RS232, RS485 or RS422 interface.

A 5 V and a 24 V supply are already integrated into the module. The communication module offers the option of subsequent adaptation, because thanks to the integration of three standard interfaces with parameterizable transmission rates, users can react individually to specific application requirements - for example, if it is not yet known at the planning stage which peripheral devices will ultimately be used. LEDs on each channel and status displays on the modules are used for simple diagnostics. They indicate whether the data transmission is working correctly or whether there is an error. The module has a width of 11.5 mm.
