They are available with 2 to 19 poles and meet the requirements of protection class IP67 when mated. The product launch concerns short, shieldable cable plugs and sockets, each with a cable clamp, in both soldered and crimped versions. The connectors from Franz Binder are designed for connection cross-sections from 0.14 mm2 (AWG 26) to 1 mm2 (AWG 18), depending on the number of poles and connection type. The rated values for voltage and current are specified as 32 V to 250 V and 3 A to 7 A respectively. Cable apertures from 4.1 mm to 7.8 mm ensure variability in the application. The short version of the series is primarily aimed at applications in measurement, testing and automation technology that are subject to restricted installation conditions.
